The purpose of German reins, also called sliding reins, is to correct a too high or misaligned neck position. When using German reins, you ride with 2 pairs of reins: the bridle reins that act directly on the bit and the German reins that run through the bit and attach to the girth.\r\n\r\nVery strong German reins made of leather.\r\nAttachment system with snap hook.\r\nA girth attachment loop is provided for girths without a D-ring.
